8th June | 9 pm - Webinar SPMT/UEMS - 2nd European assessment of Occupational Medicine
On 8th June, at 9 pm, the Portuguese Society of Occupational Medicine (SPMT) will hold, in collaboration with the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS), a webinar about the 2nd European assessment of Occupational Medicine of the UEMS (scheduled for August 30, 2021), to clarify the potential candidates and all the interested parties, in all Europe.
This exam, created by the Occupational Medicine Section of UEMS, is already a curricular enhancement tool for occupational physicians in training or seeking for an international career.
The webinar will count with the important collaborations of Dr. João Grenho, Secretary General of UEMS (the relevance of UEMS for the european representation of physicians and the harmonization of teaching and the evolution of Medicine in Europe) and Prof.ª Alenka Škerjanc, President of the Occupational Medicine Section at UEMS (a presentation on the scientific preparation for this exam). The President of SPMT, Dr. Jorge Barroso Dias, in addition to moderating the session and the discussion, will announce SPMT's initiatives in collaboration with UEMS and in motivating/supporting candidates.
SPMT intends to launch a series of support meetings for all the candidates, in order to their preparation and success in this 2nd European assessment of Occupational Medicine of the UEMS.
